My Story
Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
As a kid, I was clipping and collaging my mom’s Southern Living magazines, completely convinced this would be my job someday. Life took a few unexpected turns. College came with a track scholarship instead of a design program, which led me into teaching and photography. Jobs I loved, but ones that never quite quieted the pull toward design.
After Hurricane Laura, everything shifted. As I shared our own home projects and my love for design on social media, people started reaching out, friends, neighbors, and complete strangers, asking for help rebuilding, reimagining, and making decisions they felt completely overwhelmed by. That’s when it clicked: not everyone can see the vision before it comes to life, and so many people just needed someone to guide them through it.
In 2021, I officially launched my design studio which came with years of learning, experimenting, and working through the trial-and-error phase of business. Since then, I’ve refined a process that works, one rooted in clear communication, thoughtful design, and taking the overwhelm out of building and renovating. My husband and I have lived every version of the process ourselves: a new spec home build, a custom home, and now a full renovation. That real-life experience, paired with trusted local vendor relationships and budget-conscious decision-making, allows me to confidently guide my clients from start to finish, so they feel supported, informed, and excited every step of the way.
